Canadian Immigration Agreement set to Boost Northwest Territories
A new provincial nominee program for the Northwest Territories of Canada will allow skilled foreign workers with much needed qualifications to move to Canada more quickly. The Canada visa applicants applying via the new Northwest Territories Nominee Program (NTNP) will have their visa application submitted to the federal immigration authorities for approval, but Citizenship and Immigration Canada says that they will be given priority placement during this three year pilot program. Applicants can be nominated for permanent residency by the NTNP under one of the four program categories: skilled worker, critical impact worker, entrepreneur business or self-employed business.
