Anyone ever seen Trailer Park Boys??
(If you've seen it on Comedy Central Germany, forget about it and watch it without the dub.)

The main cast of charcters Julian, Ricky and Bubbles are played by
John Paul Tremblay, Robb Wells and Mike Smith (Real names in the same order as above)While Julian does the thinking for all their criminal activities and Ricky basicly does what ever the hell he wants to especially growing dope, is Bubbles always there to support his 2 best buddies in any way it's necessary. Bubbles personal specialty is fixing stolen shopping cars to sell them back to the malls.
Close friends of the boys are Cory and Trevor, but to be exact those two are more likely puppets on strings that do what ever they are told to without ever thinking for themselves.
"Shit puppets" -How ex-police officer, alcoholic and pain in the ass trailer park superviser Jim Lahey would say.
With Jim Lahey as authority in the park, is where the most fun begins. He and his assistant trailer park superviser Randy, who's a former male prostitute, are trying to do anything possible to get the bad boys back behind bars, no matter how greasy it is.

The first 4 Seasons where shot in different trailerparks in Nova Scotia, after the film crew was forced to move from one park to the next after complaints, they eventually built their own trailer park. Gathering cheap trailers and furniture from the dump, they created the set for the trailer park boys.

Between the year 2001 and 2008 7 Seasons where shot and puplished, which brings us to a total of 55 episodes and not to forget 2 movies. Thinking of the concept, a bunch of small-time criminals wondering around a trailer park, trying to make a Dollar no matter what and get busted at almost every season ending doesn't sound so glorious. But I'm telling ya, not a minute is a waste of time watching this amazing canadian show.

I'm not so sure what the guys been up to lately, I heard they had a few live shows in T.O and elsewhere. But actually they came out with a big anouncement, airing a new show on Showcase called "The Drunk and On Drugs Happy Fun Time Hour" The release was supposed to be in the fall of 2010.
After they stopped working on further adventures of the Trailer Park Boys, the fans are waiting desperately for the show or at least an announcement of the guys, what's going on lately.


If any of you who are canadian residents get any information about this matter, please newsflash me!

Never said that TPB as a cheap production is any bad, or that I'd expect anything in a Hollywood kind of way.
And frankly, hollywood these days is overated, the real good flicks are made far away from california these days.
