Zitat
Let me get this straight Mark Davidson, you expect us to believe that immigration consultants rip off immigrants because of CSIC membership fees? Oh, and ICCRC claims they can lower membership fees, cut staff by 50%, allow in huge numbers of individuals who have been identified as ghost consultants, AND better regulate the profession?? Stronger regulation with less money, fewer staff and by bringing in huge numbers of former ghost consultants who have been operating outside of the law for years? Really??
Of course, the final irony in all this is that ICCRC is not in fact legally structured as a regulator, and hence it is a misrepresentation for CIC to label ICCRC as a regulator. Fundamentally, there is no procedural fairness whatsoever in ICCRC processes. Applauded by Phil Mooney's friends who recognize he will protect them from regulatory oversight; while judicial review awaits any attempt by ICCRC to discipline anyone.
Please CIC and Minister Kenney, stop playing us all for fools. You helped your friends at ICCRC and when the mess gets exposed you are just going to turn around and blame the crooked consultants. You will deny knowing that ICCRC was in fact a protector of crooked consultants and hand control over to the law societies, or shut out immigration consultants entirely after the scandal emerges.
In the end, no one has shown any concern for the fact that ICCRC is very outspokenly biased in favour of the interests of immigration consultants; and their friends at CIC such as Mark Davidson also clearly promote the interests of immigration consultants. When will the truth be exposed, that CIC supports crooked consultants such as CAPIC's President, Jeffrey Hemlin, and not the regulator who tries to stop his misconduct?
