für meinen nächsten Urlaubstrip nach Nova-Scotia suche ich Restaurant-Tipps.

Diese Restaurants kenne ich schon:

Le Gabriel in Cheticamp
Bras d'or Lake Inn in St. Peters
Mother's Webb in Antigonish
Montana's in Halifax
Capain's Cabin in Digby

The best place to visit in Pictou County is the "Pipers Landing Restaurant"
in Lyonsbrook near Pictou NS. Right on the Highway from Saltsprings(TCH) to Pictou.

The Owner is Matt (German) .
Food is A1, very relaxing and beautful setting overlooking the Westriver/Middleriver waters.

If you go there, talk to Matt (whitehaired guy) and say Mike send you.
He will offer you a free Schnaps on the House after you had the meal;
insist on it,cause I vauch for it.
Is that an offer or what?

Ich weiß nicht , ob das Restaurant noch existiert- aber 1999 waren wir in Halfax bei "Mother Tucker". All you can eat- Buffee mit Lobster bis zum abwinken.

Danke für den Tipp. Ich habe im Web die Adresse gefunden, allerdings bin ich mir nicht sicher, ob es noch geöffnet hat. Werde ich im Sommer überprüfen.
