let's share some of the canadian sayings. Here are some of my favorites:
"Rob Peter to pay Paul" You can use this one for example when someone has two credit cards and uses one to pay the other off.
"A shy pig is a skinny pig" I use this one when I provide something to drink or eat and notice that someone is to shy to take it.
"Go the extra mile" When you do some extra steps to make something perfect.
Washroom, two-four, for sure, Trawna, buns (not dinner rolls), Z not zee, Chesterfield, touque, keener, lineup, to be on the pogey, mickey, supply teacher, the bill, homo milk, eavestrough....
I could go on...
It's funny often when I with American friends they always notice as say, "I get that, eh!"

It was an advertisement campaign started by Molson and it spawned its own little life. Some of them are quite funny and do illustrate Canada in all of its form and glory!
