ja war ein gutes Spiel der Hollaender gegen meine Lieblingsmannschaft, den Italienern.....

Ansonsten wuensche ich uns allen noch viel Spass, viele Tore der Deutschen und natuerlich den Titel zur EM!!!

Why?
Background on the colour orange (seriously ): the Dutch Royal Family is also known as The House of Orange-Nassau.
It's a bit complicated to explain how they came by this title, as it goes with royalty.....the nephew of the sister of the uncle of the grandmother etc etc, inherited by napoleonic wars by the brother of the great-aunt of the cousin by marriage etc etc etc

Anyway...becuase they are also called the House of Orange-Nassau the National Colour of The Netherlands, besides the proud red, white and blue, is orange (Nassau isn't a colour as far as I know )

So, sorry to say, you won't be able to wear your orange t-shirts this summer, unless you are a supporter of the Dutch Lions

Now my ( stupid) question..what’s the difference between Holland and Netherlands..is there a difference anyway?

That´s a legitimate question, I guess there`s no difference.

But "Hub Holland" sounds definitely better as "Hub Netherlands"

Ich denke, dass wir demnext ein kleines Finale haben werden in der Gruppe C.

Denn wenn Holland nun gegen Rumänien gewinnt, ist Holland sicher eine Runde weiter. Also ist noch ein Ticket für die nächste Runde frei. Wenn Rumänien nun die anderen Spiele (gegen Italien und NL verliert) kommt der Showdown zwischen


Frankreich vs. Italien

und nur der Sieger wird das Ticket erhalten. Also kleine Neuauflange zum Finale von vor 2 Jahren...

Die Gruppe C galt schon vor EM-Beginn als Todesgruppe.
Das Unentschieden zwischen FR und RO hat mich doch tierisch überrascht, die Niederlage des amtierenden Weltmeisters war mehr als gerechtfertigt. Lassen wir uns mal überraschen, welches Team die nächste Runde erreicht. Momentan tendiere ich zu NL und trotz der gestrigen Niederlage zu I.
