Details of Job Offer Job Title / Occupation: Project Control Specialist (Cost Engineer or Technologist) Main duties of the job (use a separate sheet if required): We currently have career opportunities for an Intermediate / Senior Project Control Specialist (Cost Engineer). As a member of our Technical Services Project Controls Team, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of progress monitoring and reporting for all phases of Technical Services projects, valued up to $25 million. You will identify and implement value improving practices and improvements to existing project control procedures and systems. When interfacing with the Capital Portfolio Coordinator, you will provide accurate and timely standard inputs to enable analysis of the overall capital program. Maintaining prescribed project controls and reporting deliverables to meet project and department needs will be required, along with managing trending systems to document changes to project scope, schedule, budgets, and forecasts. You will participate in a discipline network of up to ten other Project Control professionals and contributing as a member of cross-functional project teams by sharing your expertise, mentoring co-members, and establishing standards for Project Controls functions. In addition, as a Senior Project Control Specialist, you will apply best practice application on all aspects of project controls, develop accurate project estimates with external providers, and be responsible for extracting, tracking, and reporting project performance and portfolio management. Educational requirements of the job: You will possess an Engineering Degree or Engineering Technology Diploma with a minimum of 5 years of capital project experience. Your combined education and experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment qualifies you for membership in the Association of Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACE).
