English Only » Is there any room for employers to explain LMO needs?

Hi,

one of the rancher in Canada would like to give me a job offer and we've discussed the possibilities about LMO and stuff like that.
I told him he can try it but i think the Immigration office will defeat.

Because many seasonal workers like students etc. might also can do the job.

But he told me that he looks for skilled and experienced people in hospitality sector and also my present job as a developer is very important for him to improve his website and office tasks etc..

Sure, if this works out for me that would be awesome and a dream comes true. But i think for an LMO the government don't care about his needs.

My question is does he have any room for explanations to the immigration office or at the LMO application forms why a student or seasonal worker are might not good enough for him regarding skills and quality he needs for his organization?

He should call his local Human Resources and Social Development (HRSDC) office. He could also try the local Economic Development Center. I am sure one of them can help you guys.

He will have to outline that you are the only person to fill this position and also that he tried to find PRs and citizans, but none of them was qualified for this specific job, and why that is so.

Unfortunately I don't know of any IT-Wrangler or IT-Ranch-Hand.

Whoa Maxim, there are some well paying, big dollar ranches. Douglas Lake Ranch to mention only one.

Jackaroo will probably don't have any chance for a positive LMO, but it's still worth the try.

But I agree with maxim that there is more money to make in Ft. Mac as a professional welder than in ranching.

The employer has to prove there is no canadian or PR available to fill this position. To do this he has to:

a) post the job offer as an ad in the newspaper AND
b) post the job on the hrsdc website

At least that's what I know.

Just because people talk about their present job in many other threads,it doesn't mean it's the only education or experience they have.

And the main job task and job offer reason is not about wrangler or ranch hand. Its still about guest relations and service.

I have been working for many years in the hospitality sector.
More than the half in managing positions.

Whatever there is no reason for me to justify anything or explaining any details to this silly turned thread for auto improve yours or maxims non helping sarcasm.
