Let me put it that way: Kill with love not with guns
At one point - way back when I was still living in Germany - my personal/social style was more like what you sometimes can experience around here in this forum too........ eager to fight a battle to the bloody end - just to make a point.
I guess you know what I mean.
Everybody knows that - Canadians are well known for their polite social interaction and being back here – now for good- for many years already just makes me more appreciative of the way we treat each other.
I too have people I rather see leaving then coming but I realized that being nice gets you way further in life.
There are way more important things in life than wasting energy on fighting people.
Everyone is entitled to their own shortcomings and if one is deaf to soft-spoken words he/she is deaf to screaming as well.
So why waist my energy an unworthy things, which only would be like pouring gasoline into a fire pit.
You can learn being polite – and believe it or not – it adds so much to ones quality of life.
It is fun being nice - way more fun than being a jerk.

Cuz I love to have the last word ( German halloooo) it is that if you would have members in your family suffering from dyspraxia .. 99% because of mercury poising ... you may react different to people around you spilling oil into the nature .. you may wave and wish them
a wonderful day ... well I will call him a fraggin' @ssho.. and call the authorities .. but hey looks like I will never become a Prozac happy Canadian .. but thats so cool about Canada .. you dont have to assimilate .. you can be yourself .. at least in B.C.
